Hutmamas is an island-born clothing brand inspired by the colour, chaos, characters and everyday magic of Siargao.

What started from a little island shop grew from a love for creating things that feel different. Pieces that capture the spirit of a place rather than simply putting its name on a shirt.

HUT: our little island home, our creative space, our shelter from the storm.

MAMA: the energy behind it all. The woman who makes, creates, hustles, nurtures and somehow keeps everything moving.

THE ISLAND INSPIRES US

Siargao has a strange kind of magic.

It’s in the palm trees, the ocean, the motorcycles, the sunsets, the parties, the rainbows after a storm, the barefoot days and the people you meet along the way.

But it’s also in the chaos. The quirks. The unexpected. The people who live a little differently and aren’t afraid to be themselves.

Our designs are little snapshots of island life; sometimes nostalgic, sometimes playful, sometimes rebellious, and sometimes completely weird.

DESIGNED BY LIZ

Hutmamas is a reflection of its founder, Liz - a Filipina artist, designer, activist and single mama who wanted to create clothing that felt more personal to Siargao.

Many of our graphics begin as hand-drawn ideas, inspired by the people, places and strange little details that make the island what it is.

We don’t want to make clothes that simply say “I went to Siargao.”

We want to make clothes that say “I felt something here.”

Hutmamas is for people who don’t necessarily want to blend in.

We make bold islandwear, original graphics and one-of-a-kind pieces for people who like a little colour, a little attitude and a lot of personality.

Some pieces are made in small batches. Some are upcycled. Some are completely unique.

Because we believe clothing should be allowed to be fun.
